KUWAIT

So Laura has been in Kuwait for a couple of weeks...she snagged a cell phone almost immediately from a soldier that is heading home.

She finally has private quarters, a welcome relief after two months in the barracks! The weather is HOT...110+ with sandstorms which look like this:


There is internet available, but its slow, so you can email her.

She can't upload any photos yet, but as soon as it is possible, she'll flood this blog!

Boarding in Gulfport...next stop, somewhere in the desert!

Today...

Laura is hopping a bus today to Gulfport where she'll board a plane for Iraq.

She's been REALLY busy training and has pics to share later, here is one more I got yesterday. This was family day, the day before they shipped to Mississippi.
